About this deal

All three of these lenses have been optimized for use with Fujifilm X-mount camera systems. Specifically, Sigma says the ‘control algorithm, including AF drive and communication speed optimization, has been developed specifically for X mount interchangeable lenses.’ All lenses work with Continuous AF (AF-C) and include support for built-in aberration correction on supported X-mount cameras. 16mm F1.4 DC DN | C This is the second Sigma lens I've had the opportunity to test out and for the four weeks, I never removed it from the Fuji X-T5, opting simply to see if it performed well in every situation it was presented with. It was great in low light thanks to the f/1.4 aperture and even in bright sunlight, it didn't suffer from lens flare. Build Quality

Yes, that is the short answer to this. Although Sigma lenses aren’t as good as their Fujifilm counterparts, they are a good alternative when considering quality and features against the price. And to be fair to Sigma, the picture quality gap is so close you wouldn’t even notice. So, unless you’re a pixel peeper, don’t worry about the differences in quality. Is the Sigma 56mm f1.4 lens weather-sealed? Not many cameras in this class offer a seal where the lens mount attaches to the camera body but I appreciated this feature since mirrorless camera sensors are already quite exposed without a mirror to protect them. In addition, other great features include nice color and contrast. Flare is also well m-controlled during normal usage. The 56mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary does vignette wide open but that isn’t out of the ordinary. Stopping down one stop reduces vignetting significantly, and by f4, it’s pretty much gone. The Sigma 56mm f1.4 lens is designed specifically for Fujifilm X-mount cameras, including the X-T4, X-T3, X-T2, X-T1, X-H1, X-Pro3, X-Pro2, X-E3, X-E2, and X-E1. It is not compatible with other camera systems. What types of photography is the Sigma 56mm f1.4 lens best suited for? Although this focal length may be a little too telephoto for most indoor shooting situations, I love using it to shoot landscapes. It forces you to narrow in on a subject and be more selective with your composition. Although this post isn’t a Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN C vs Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 R WR comparison, below is a table to compare the two to make a better-informed choice about which lens is suitable for you, should you be considering the Fujifilm lens. Lens Feature

Above, left to right: Sigma 56mm f1.4, Sony e 50mm f1.8, Sony FE 50mm f1.8. All at f2. Crops from right side.I don’t own any of these other lenses anymore, I just have Fuji’s 56mm. It gets out of my way and lets me focus on my shoots.”
