Decathlon’s Compact Folding Dry Toilet comes with a lid and is used with a 40-50l toilet bag and sawdust (bought separately). As compact and portable as this toilet looks, you will be amazed at how effectively it performs. The Camco 41544 travel toilet is a sleek and lovely toilet that will be easy to use and dispose of. Like Luggable Loo, this is a 5.3 gallons toilet with a detachable tank and features a 4-gallon flush tank capacity. The pumping-flushing action is very effective as it cleans the bowl leaving it clean after every use. In addition, it has a swivel dumping elbow that makes waste removal to be fast and easy. Should you get a camping toilet?
The composting toilet is an eco-friendly alternative to the classic chemical toilet. It’s a ‘dry toilet’ so requires no water or chemicals. Also referred to as a ‘urine-diverter’, composting toilets work by separating solids from liquids, directing each to a specific container for easier management and odour control. It probably goes without saying you should only put human waste down your toilet. Disposable nappies, wipes or any other similar items should never enter the system. Most chemicals should kill bacteria, control odour, reduce gas build up and mask any foul smells with perfume. They should also break down wastage, making it easier to empty the cassette. The first rule of chemical toilets is that you must only empty them in a specifically designated place. What are toilet chemicals and why do I need them?
