But all that said, I wanted to keep playing the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, just as I spent my freshman year at Mizzou stealing dogtags from each and every enemy in a Metal Gear Solid 2. If having to make a choice feels like picking a favorite kid, then the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is a cowardly -- and awesome -- way out. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is probably the best reason to own this collection, being the game the fewest people have probably played. After the manic storytelling of MGS2, Snake Eater reins it in for the most focused game in the series.

MGS2 Has a heart-felt storyline a fast pace action gameplay that will amaze you from belief with how good the game looks and runs the game runs at a steady frame rate and the visuals pop out better and have a "cleaner" look to them. Initially, Peace Walker seems derivative, combining the modern shooter controls of MGS4 with the simplicity of MGS2 and the mostly outdoor aesthetic of MGS3. Enemy AI is dim, unable to look across the Y-axis or hear your nimble agent running inches behind it. It was only a matter of time before Konami jumped on the HD remaster bandwagon started this generation by Sony with God of War Collection, and Konami picked the best candidate to go first. The controls are complete **** I'd recommend checking out Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory or Thief 3 if you want a real stealth game.The fight against The Boss, Colonel Campbell going nuts, the haunting tune as Chrysalis flies by – these are the kind of memorable events that define Metal Gear, and they are just as awesome as you remember.
