The new album will now be released on April 15th, and as with all touring cycles, naturally I want you to have the new album before my upcoming shows, so the tour has been pushed back to May, with the exception of both London shows remaining on April 18 and 19. Promising audiences a night they won’t forget, the ‘Parachutes’ singer tells fans he plans to play a mix of new songs and old favourites, as well teasing some surprise on-stage moments too! The way he uses lyrics and his own production techniques, harmonising with his own voice always draws me into his music.

Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased. The majority of the album was self-produced at Charlie's own recording studio, built from scratch during the global lockdown.

With an uncompromising approach to creating truly honest music, 2022 is set to be a hugely exciting chapter for one of the UKs most celebrated voices. I have found the words to be more direct than on his other albums, easier to connect with and find a message in that means something to yourself, as well as to Charlie. Don't do what I did and drink two glasses of red wine before listening to the album, because it will have you in tears. He informed Virgin Radio that most of the tracks were written on the piano, rather than his usual instrument, the guitar. And although they convey a sense of sadness and regret in places, ultimately they are utterly uplifting and heartwarming.

K. and Ireland next month playing a string of live shows up and down the country, in cities including Leeds, Norwich, Birmingham, Brighton and London, before wrapping up in Dublin at The Green Room on Sunday, May 29th. In an exclusive interview with NME, he revealed that he "started writing it in 2019" and wanted to be "more stripped-back and showed my more vulnerable side".It’s fascinating how the human psyche has the endless capacity for optimism as a mechanism for overcoming adversity. Hailing from Suffolk, Charlie Simpson began his musical career in 2001, gaining commercial and critical success with Busted and Fightstar before going solo. As a lifelong music fan, being able to get my hands on a physical album is something I treasure, and I feel very passionate about continuing this tradition by releasing all formats at the same time. Two years later we made the move to our present address, 35 The Headrow, where we have remained ever since. With intimate ballads such as ‘I See You’ and uptempo pop songs such as ‘Blameless’ and the upcoming ‘All The Best’, the album showcases an artist confidently pushing the boundaries of a remarkable 20 year career.

Differing from his previous artistry of anything acoustic, he wanted to "make a more intimate sounding record" and "explore the different ranges of my voice, you know, get to do a bit more than falsetto stuff".As other reviewers have mentioned, the songs on this album are another set of classic Charlie Simpson tunes. A majority of the tracks were written on the piano, and he purposefully avoided the guitar in favour of a different instrument.

Commenting on the premise and overall message of the album, the Busted and Fightstar says: “Everyone has been touched by the feeling of hope.

The arrangement and production is a little different to the previous releases, which were somewhat retro in style, with a bit of a 70s vibe. The fourth studio album by Charlie Simpson, the record was announced on November 16, 2021, along with its tour.
